Horsemanship 101

Beginners and those brand new to horse handling begin with three 45 minutes horsemanship 101 sessions. These 45 minute sessions outline the basics of horse handling and highlight safety with horses.
• $150 for three 45 minute sessions

Please come 15-20 minutes early to begin the tacking process. 24 hour notice is required for all cancellation or you will be charged. Children must be a minimum of 10 years old and above to begin lessons. Adults welcome at any age.
The program I offer is based on the safety standards set by the Certified Horsemanship Association (CHA) and handling methods of the Classical Stock Seat School of Arizona.  These sources provide the resources needed to offer a comprehensive program for students and a healthy and happy lifestyle for horses. 

Students have the opportunity to develop skills such as safe judgment, dependability, accountability, self-confidence, problem solving, respect, communication skills, and to develop meaningful relationships with horses and other equestrians. My goal is for students to enjoy a safe, positive experience with horses. Each student can achieve different levels of experience and specific program goals which are obtained at a pace students set for themselves. Click the link below for more information and forms.
